But you can win a copy of a new book about whales by taking part in the "Week of Culture of the Pope," a competition on the page up from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

Every day next week, USCCB would ask the fans up, there are about 22,000 fans, about the life and teachings of Pope Benedict XVI.

The first person who gave the correct answer in the comment box below the question will win a copy of a book about the Pope, with a foreword by King Abdullah II of Jordan and Israeli President Shimon Peres.

It is not clear whether these copies will be signed by the leader of billions of the world's Roman Catholics, or by one of the contributors to the introduction.

USCCB does social media literacy, before they issued a tweet directly from the general assembly meeting, and a nun Australia also issued a tweet about the candidates for the Holy Mary MacKillop, the discourse Benedict to become Australia's first saint.

There's even the pope application on Facebook, called Pope2You, which allows users to receive messages from the Pope. And the Pope himself has urged Catholic leaders to nge-tweet, nge-blog and post on Facebook.

"The pastors are challenged to proclaim the Gospel by using the latest generation of audiovisual resources (images, video, animation features, blogs, websites)," Pope said octogenarian in a message in May to commemorate World Communications Day.
