MotoGp Australia 2010 - Valentino Rossi admitted to not want to appear adamant in the first MotoGP free practice in Australia following the bad weather.
Rossi has only been in position 7 in the first MotoGP free practice in Australia, Friday, October 15, 2010. This session was delayed nearly two hours due to heavy rains that blanketed the Phillip Island circuit.
The Doctor claimed that flooded the track conditions make the practice could hardly be done. The track remained wet almost all the time training.
In addition, the more damage the atmosphere of high winds. In fact, before the weather at Phillip Island is very bright.
"The weather is very extraordinary and it really was in the end to be able to motor racing. The more remarkable because the previous day was wonderful. I hope will be better tomorrow (today), but likely will not be as expected," explained Rossi as quoted by Autosport.
"Suits my bike in wet conditions is quite good and I am happy with the bike. But, I do not want to push too hard in conditions like this."
"I think we (Yamaha) could be better than this result, but had to wait how the weather tomorrow. We expect the sun!" Rossi added.
Meanwhile, Rossi's team manager Davide Brivio, admitted his side are ready with the worst conditions in the qualification round.
"We did a lot of things today, but it seemed that we could make it more comfortable than this. Circuit very wet and likely will be worse tomorrow. But, we will continue to work like this and hope to
improve the record time, 'said Brivio.
